የኤርትራ መንግሥት ቃል አቀባዩ ማክሰኞ ጥር 26/2018 ዓ.ም. ምሽት በኤክስ ገጻቸው ባሰፈሩት ጽሁፍ፤ የኢትዮጵያ መንግሥት በትግራይ ጦርነት "ወቅት እና ከጦርነቱ ረጅም ጊዜ በኋላ ለኤርትራ ሠራዊት የክብር ሜዳይ" ሲሰጥ ነበር ብለዋል

The Eritrean government spokesperson, in a post they published on their X (Twitter) page on the evening of Tuesday, January 26, 2018 E.C., stated that the Ethiopian government had been awarding 'medals of honor to the Eritrean army' during and long after the Tigray war.

After the prime minister's speech, the Eritrean government spokesperson Mr. Yemane responded on his X page, saying that the Prosperity Party's disgusting hallmark of deceit and malice was on display today at the House of Peoples' Representatives session.
